Sunrise at Bushy Park
9th June 2019
At this time of year getting up for sunrise can be tough, luckily on this morning it was worth the 3.45 am alarm to get to the park for sunrise. I arrived 15 mins before sunrise and realised it was going to be a good one. Nice sky and a mist, my kind of day.
As usual it was a rush to cram as much in as possible while the light was good, I stopped at the first pond and shot a quick panorama. Then moved on to the Leg of Mutton pond where I met the usual group of photographers I see most weeks. We watched the sun rise through the mist.
There was then just enough time to dash back and catch the swans with their cygnets before driving home for a catch up on sleep and breakfast.
Getting up early at this time of year is a struggle but well worth it on mornings like the but looking forward to sunrise at a sensible time soon.
